So here is my new toy. It is
PURPLE and I love it! I have been looking for either pink or purple bike but the pink ones are either for children or beach cruiser type which I find rather uncomfortable to ride. Of course it didn't come with the basket. That, you have to buy differently together with the bell which I don't have yet.
I got it like maybe a month ago. Guess how many times I have been on it? Twice! lol. I know. I am just so bad. It's not like I don't like riding but sometimes the weather is either too cold or too hot. Also somehow my butt hurts sitting n the damn seat. I even bought a seat cover and another seat but neither helps so I had to return the other seat.

I pun dak lama tak ride my basikal.... more than a year now. I stopped riding when I was closer to 7 months during my preg and haven't get a chance to get back on my bike. Bike shorts helps reduce the pain kat u punya toot toot..... hahaha. enjoy riding.

The seat's pretty wide, so it should be okay. Yeah, I know, it takes some getting use to, but it will pass. You'll get used to it.

The truth is...I do not know how to ride the bicycle. I did ride one when I was young, but I fell off the bike, luka dalam kat my knees, langsung phobia.
Tapi kalau cycle kat gym, tu I boleh la...

Pi, orang macam i mesti kena ada basket to put the water & soda bottle, camera and etc. next time kalau nak picnic boleh letak sandwich bagai. hahaha.

Mat Salo, semoga! I too hope the pain will pass and il get used to it. Another thing is the wind gust. Aiyo that one made me lose my breath!
Ida, for real? takpelah. kat msia kurang sikit keselamatan to ride a bike on the main road so maybe its best to stick to exercise bike. ;)

No what I'm wondering is where you guys cycle. Do you have bike paths? Here around Paris, it depends on the cities; some have paths, others little or none. In Paris, there are bike paths but there is SO MUCH traffic that it can be dangerous.

Farina, to be honest, this is the first time i am looking at a purple coloured bicycle! it looks ok i guess and truly a ladies bike! I hope u hv many delightful adventures on it or with it! Since i came here, i hv always had 2nd hand bikes, my first was a child's bike cos i am VERY short but now i found a good adult size one that fits my height. The people here cycle everywhere no matter how far thus i am getting the hang of cycling too but i am not doing it as often as i should cos of the weather - kalau sejuk sangat i tak sanggup nak berbasikal heheheheh

Barb, yes we do have bike lane esp around here since its close to the beach. We have bike lane along the beach as well. I dont think there's any in LA either. the traffic is too heavy for bikes. :)

Reminds me of my bike that I used to have when I was a teenager.
When I started college it was left idle in my house. And eventhough it became so rusty and was collecting dust, I insisted on keeping it for old times sake.
One day I came home and realised that my mum had thrown it away without asking me.
The best part is that I didn't feel a sense of lost at all :-)
