Is Avril Lavigne too sexy for Malaysia? Sexier than the PussyCat Dolls? Is crying or shouting or wailing or in this case, constant bitching for the banning of concerts by western women artists more important than making sure that our children are safe? More important than dealing with bag-snatching crimes that has taken more lives and shattered their families?
Why is that they think it is their job and that they are representing the whole of Malaysia? I did not appoint them. Did YOU? I'd like to think that as an adult, I know how to think and decide what is best for me. If I dont like it, I wont do it or see it. Who the hell do they think they are to dictate what is best and what is not for me? And then make it sound like they are representing me?? Have they forgotten that Malaysia is a multi religion and multi racial country? It is after all Avril Lavigne whom we ALL know wears tshirt and jeans when she performs. PAS Youth, did you guys realise that she is not from Girls Gone Wild nor is she from Girls Next Door?!
And when Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage Minister succumbed to this kind of BS (eventhough he denied it has anything to do with that call), it makes me even more mad.
But this drama is apparently not quite over yet as mentioned by who else but Miss Avril Lavigne herself here. There is still hope. To prove to the whole world that we Malay, Chinese, Indian, Iban, Dayak, Bidayuh, Kelabit, Eurasian, Mat Saleh dan lain lain Malaysian know how and WHEN to have fun.

Good news for the fans. Avril's concert is back on, after all. I could be wrong, but I suspect it's the international embarrassment and ridicule that brought on this last minute decision. Bongok betul. On the bright side, we just gave adorable Avril the biggest compliment of all times.
Bully for PAS Youth.
Why can't these folks just keep their mouths shut and let the concert jalan in the first place?
Even if Avril's concert has gotten the green light, the world already knows how 'intelligent' our authorities are.
Malaysia Boleh!
i just read that her concert is ON after all that drama = ) hope the fans will enjoy it nonetheless! Hope u hv calm down now Far, hugs.
Hey Kak Farina,
Hahahahaa...I heard this on the news here too! Go figure...Lavigne is Canadian...
I was like, eh? That sounds like Malaysia...
And then, darn, that WAS Malaysia!
And sounds so stupid the whole thing...
good point. the Pussycat Dolls were here and one of them even had her nipple accidentally exposed. while Avril, whether intntionally or otherwise, wouldnt even expose her belly-button!
Munira, memang bongok gila. nyampah!
Julie, those ppl memang attention whores. they dont care if wht theyr doin embarassed the hell out of the country and the rest of the msian as long as they get the publicity.
Mush, bila i dengar tht the concert might be on again, i dah sejuk sikit but stil pissed off w those ppl yg will continue doing it to other western artiste.
Daphne, now you're experiencing wht we (msian overseas) has to endure. hahah.
Kerp, is tht true? sigh. and they didn say anything when the bollywood artists came did they?
Yes, the concert is on. I think on the 29th Aug at Stadium Merdeka.
One of the local singers, my fav -Faizal Tahir - took off his shirt during a live concert (broadcasted on TV) and was banned for 3 &*#%!^ months!! Kesian. Recently one Indon singer took off his shirt - tapi rasanya nothing was done about it.
Floating rules. Pelik.
You r 100% correct...thankful u r not in the country with all these BS.
It is really, how u say "sungguh memalukan".
I support ur call...they do not represent "all" of Malaysians. I hope it will open the voter's eyes in the next election.
Kak Ja, itulah diorang ni. pilih bulu and bias to the max! anak bini sendiri tak terjaga, nak sibu jaga the whole of Msia.
NW, i tell u, itu baru berkuasa in 1 state. *rolling eyes*
